Student Administrators

Student Administrators, or Admin, are the primary decision-making body of LGBTQ+ of FIRST, with the final vote on all important topics. Admin are expected to fulfill duties including but not limited to the scheduling and writing of blog posts, the supervision and management of the LGBTQ+ of FIRST Discord server, and outreach at FIRST events. Only LGBTQ+ students who are currently members of a FRC or FTC Team may hold the position of Admin.
Zack B.
Class of 2021 | Team: FRC 1111 | Chesapeake | Male | Asexual and Aromantic | 2019 – Present
Zack is the Outreach Coordinator for the Power Hawks and a Dean’s List semi-finalist in 2018-2019. He does long distance running for fun on the side, and also participates in Model United Nations. He enjoys public transportation, programming, and has a passion for public speaking.

Devin P.
Class of 2022 | Teams: FRC 1747 | Indiana | Nonbinary | Pansexual | 2020 - Present
​Devin works with business and media within their team. They were previously involved with VEX robotics, and regularly volunteer for both VEX and FRC competitions. They are an artist and aspire to become a graphic novel author in their future.

Owen D.
Class of 2021 | Team: FRC 1339 | Midwest | Nonbinary | Pansexual and Demisexual | 2020 – Present
Owen is a co-captain of team 1339, AngelBotics, who has been in the FRC community for four years. Owen spends most of their free time playing piano, doing political research, and trying to understand other individual's logic on topics such as LGBTQ+ issues and climate change.

Mia K.
Class of 2021 | Team: FRC 7407 | New England | Female | Bisexual | 2020 – Present
Mia is a design team member and Production Manager for Team 7407, the Wired Boars. Outside of robotics, she is an Ambassador Girl Scout, an alto in her school’s Chamber Chorus, a guitar lesson teacher, and a cross country runner. In her free time, she draws graphics for some smaller campus publications.

Alice V.
Class of 2021 | Team: FRC 1403 | Northeast | Female | Lesbian | 2020 – Present
Alice is a co-team Captain, Chairman's representative, and is specialized in mechanical work. She's also leader of her school's GSA and a passionate advocate of female representation in STEM. She is currently conducting research at NJIT on the use of artificial neural networks in detecting and identifying network breaches, which she hopes to complete this summer if her rabbit, Ezekiel, doesn't eat her papers first.

Charlie R.
Class of 2022 | Team: FTC 3526 | SoCal | Genderfluid | Queer | 2020 – Present
Charlie tries to do a little bit of everything in robotics in order to gain knowledge and experience. They are a part of choir, theater, and film programs. They are passionate about combining social justice with the subjects they love, such as STEM and the arts.
